Legal
License Agreement
1. Acceptance of terms
By using the “My Teeth: Diary” app, the user accepts this License Agreement. If the user does not agree with the terms, they must stop using the app and delete it from their device.
2. Purpose of the app
The app is designed for maintaining a personal dental archive: profiles, dental record, statuses, events, notes, expenses, reminders, backups, and other information added by the user. The app helps organize personal records but does not replace official clinic medical documentation.
3. License to use
The user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on a personal device in accordance with these terms, app store rules, and applicable law. All rights to the app, design, interface, code, visual elements, and materials not created by the user remain with the rights holder.
4. User data
The user retains rights to the data they manually enter into the app. The user is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of the entered information, and for having the right to store data about themselves or other profiles created in the app.
5. Not a medical service
The app is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, clinic, telemedicine service, or substitute for medical advice. The app does not diagnose, analyze images, prescribe treatment, or provide medical recommendations. Any decisions about treatment, prevention, or diagnosis should be made with a qualified specialist.
6. Backups and risk of data loss
App data is primarily stored locally. The user may create portable manual backups protected by a password and, in supported versions on Apple devices, use iCloud Drive backups that do not require entering a user password. Automatic iCloud Drive backup works when iCloud Drive is available and the app is active or returns to the foreground; when possible, a new backup is created no more than once every six hours. It is not a guaranteed background service or device synchronization. The developer does not guarantee recovery if a current backup was not created, was deleted or damaged, is unavailable because of iCloud or another service, or the password for a protected manual file was lost.
7. Usage restrictions
The user must not use the app unlawfully, attempt to disrupt app operation, bypass technical restrictions, decompile the app beyond what is allowed by law, present the app as their own product, or use it to provide medical services without proper rights and permissions.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. The developer aims to maintain stable operation but does not guarantee that the app will work without errors, interruptions, incompatibility with a specific device, operating system, or external service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for the user’s medical decisions, inaccuracies in user-entered data, data loss without a current backup, acts or unavailability of Apple or other external services, inability to restore a damaged or incompatible backup, loss of the password for a protected manual file, or indirect losses arising from app use.
10. External services
The app may save protected backups in its iCloud Drive folder and interact with system functions and services selected by the user, such as Files, email, messengers, or other apps. Use of iCloud Drive and other services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The developer does not control availability, retention periods, or deletion of data in those services.
11. Changes to the app and terms
App features and this agreement may be updated. Continued use of the app after an update means acceptance of the current version of the terms. If the user does not agree with the updated terms, they must stop using the app.
